Josef Hoffman was born on December 15, 1870 in Vienna, Austria. Josef Hoffman was a multi talented and gifted designer of architecture, furniture, clothing, posters, textiles, utensils and wallpaper. Josef Hoffman was convinced of the spiritual benefits that harmonious living and design had on people and has proved this theory with his Kubus series that he designed in 1910 featuring a great example of his strict geometrical lines.
