Marco Maran was born in 1963 in Siena, Italy. After leaving the Art School of Siena he went to the Faculty of Architecture in Florence. His work with various companies has gained him considerable recognition as a designer. He has designed the Stone Stool, So Happy Chair, Hoopla Chair, Zip Chair, Ricciolina Chair and Tables.
